Welcome to BFOBIDS! We're your online local marketplace based in Buhler, KS. Here's everything you need to know to get started.

Please note that winning bidders are expected to pay for and get their items during the specified pickup period.

Pay extra close attention to the Details, Terms, Directions, and Pickup & Delivery tabs on every auction page. This will notify you of the inspection and pickup dates, accepted payment types, the auction's location, and our contact information.

We put a lot of faith in our bidders, and our team works extremely hard to make this a great experience. Therefore, it is very important to understand that you are responsible for every bid you place and every item that you win. Failure to complete a purchase could result in the suspension of your ability to participate in future auctions.

Here are the core rules for bidding on BFOBIDS.

Use the Inspection Times!

Each auction has a scheduled inspection date and time or allows you to make an appointment. Make sure you take advantage of these days to see the item for yourself. Our team does its best to accurately describe and photograph items, and we leave it up to our bidders to determine each item's value.

Bid with the Intent to Purchase

Your bid is a contract. Bids will not be removed, and you are responsible to pay for any items you have won... even if you change your mind.

Loop it or Swoop it up: Getting Your Items

This is how you get your winning items! We have two easy options.

Important Note: The "Loop" (delivery) and "Swoop" (pickup) services are only available for auctions managed directly by BFO or by vendors using the BFOBID's Distribution Service.

These eligible auctions will be clearly marked. Always check the auction's "Details" and "Pickup & Delivery" tabs.

• ⭐ Swoop it up (In-Store Pickup) - FREE This is the default option for eligible auctions. After you pay your invoice, just come to our pickup location during the specified removal times to "Swoop" your items. Our main pickup location is 200 1/2 Regier Street, Buhler, KS 67522. Always check the auction details for a specific item's location.

• ⭐ BFO Loop (Local Delivery) - $5.00 (For Non-Members) Want it delivered? No problem. For eligible auctions, we offer our "BFO Loop" electric van delivery to the Hutchinson area for a $5 flat fee per auction.

  • How to get it: Go to your BFOBIDS Dashboard and click on your Invoice. You will see an option to "Add Shipping." Select this, and the $5.00 fee will be added to your invoice for you to pay. (Winning bidder emails are automated and do not accept replies.)

• ⭐ "Get in the Loop" Members get FREE Delivery! It's 100% automatic. You don't have to do a thing.

  2. That's it.

  Our system automatically sees you're an active "Loop Member" and that your invoice is paid. We will then automatically schedule your items for delivery on our next BFO Loop route. No forms, no buttons, no hassle.

Max Bidding

Every bid is placed in a max bid format. A max bid is the highest amount that you are willing to pay for an item and is kept private from other bidders until that amount has been exceeded.

No Sniping! (3-Minute Overtime)

We keep it fair. Every item is extended by 3 minutes after the last bid has been placed. This ensures everyone gets a fair chance to place their final bid.

Use Your Dashboard

Use your personal BFOBIDS dashboard to watch items, place bids, and see the invoices for items that you have won.

Buyer's Premium

A buyer's premium is added on top of the final bid price for each item. This percentage can be found in the terms for each auction, but is typically 13% for items that sell below $5,000 and 10% for items that sell above $5,000. Buyer's premium is capped at $1,000/ item (real estate excluded).

For example, a $100.00 winning bid will equal an invoice amount of $113 plus applicable sales taxes.
